Oatmeal Cookies

  • 1/2 c Butter
  • 2-1/2 c Rolled oats
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 c Brown sugar
  • 1/4 c Butter
  • 1/2 c Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Preheat oven to 375.

Heat 1/2 cup butter in skillet; add oatmeal and stir constantly until browned. Cool.

Mix sugar and remaining 1/4 cup butter. Add eggs and mix until thick. Add dry ingredients and oatmeal.

Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet; flatten.

Bake until done.
