Eating late in Red Bank

Recommendations, please. I'm hosting a group of my french colleagues and looking for some restaurant that we can eat, talk and even to listen to some jazz and that is open till late. I know there are quite a few restaurants in Red Bank, but i need your guidance, as i'm completely clueless. Food is not a main issue here, but it should be decent.

thanks much.

Look into Ashes Cigar Club at 33 Broad Street(downtown Red Bank). It's a steakhouse and raw bar. Nice atmosphere, grown ups at the bar. Your French friends can smoke. I've only had drinks there but the place seemed congenial. I would go back. Don't know about live music but they played good jazz on the sound system when I was there.

Sorry I took so long to get to this, I was in Arizona for the last week.

If you are interested in live jazz you might look into Downtown Cafe at the intersection of Broad St. and Front St. (It's accross the street from the Internet Cafe). They have live jazz & blues pretty much every night.

For Chrissakes Mark you're scaring everyone!

Yeah, Mark! You actually memorize the locations of Internet Cafes? Shudder.

(oh, yeah, and on a completely seperate topic, nice Friday the 13th thing-a-ma-bob.)

Not really, Red Bank is a 5 minute drive for me, so pretty much any new establishment is notable. Have not actually been in the Internet Cafe as I don't figure the food at a place that mainly caters to net geeks with no home access is likely questionable... Besides there are like 70 food establishments in town to choose from...
