Children are actually welcomed when school groups are invited to the studio kitchen (two times per week). Wine is not served.

Not the Quintessa - never was a big fan. The Opus One is good now but I think, better in a year or two. The 96's are a little thin and may benefit from a little more time. The CSJ (my fave of the three) is a great wine and drinking well right now. But for 50.00 corkage - I'd go off the list or do the Opus

The 1996 Cinq Cepages is a lovely wine. I believe that because both it and the Opus are 1996, I would choose the Cinq Cepage as it is a wine that will drink better in its youth. Save the Opus.

I believe the CC was named wine of the year or some such designation by the spectator.
