opened it last night and just finished the last 2 glasses or so. God was it incredible, strong cholcoate and cassis flavor...very silky, very elegant. God I wish I could drink that every night!

That's what I consider a "big" cab...my favorite. Not sure if its an official wine term, but I refer to these types of cabs as "big"...Viader, Cakebread, Gunlausch Buncheau, also.

But what's with the taking two days to drink it? I'm not sure, SpongeBob, but I think you can loose e-gullet membership over something like that!!:unsure::cool:

you're right. However, I had already finished a bottle before that ...my wife had one glass - she is pregnant...and then when we started a movie I was craving more wine...but all I had was my good stuff...so I had to resort to Opus One, SIlver Oak or Quintessa...I chose the Silver Oak and I wasnt able to finish it...

I was given a gift several years ago of a very expensive table wine opener and my friend was explaining that the opener was so well made that it could put a cork back into the very same bottle to which I replied I would never have to avail myself of that particular featured option.
