Eat lots of cured meats --> increased risk of COPD

A Columbia University team found people who ate cured meats at least 14 times a month were more likely to have COPD - chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

However, a study from a few years ago found that

Ha! Meh, we're going to die eventually anyway, might as well enjoy myself with the cured meats. Or of course, as you suggest, equal it out with the vin.
