  1. @weinoo recently mentioned this rice which I'd never heard of before. I found some good information here.
  2. @ElsieD Here's a YouTube Breville video that I found quite helpful. It applies specifically for those who own the Sous Chef 16.

    Dinner 2024

Congratulations! Good wishes to you both.
  4. @liamsaunt IIRC you subscribe to ATK? They recently reviewed a number of non-alcoholic cocktails and found some of very very good. I can send you some of that info if you'd like.
  5. Enabled again (sigh)
  6. @ElsieD suggested I post this video for anyone who owns or plans to own a Breville Paradice 9 or 16 Food Processor. Breville also Breville 2 Breville 3
  7. After my phone call this morning with a Breville rep. I learned that I need those items that you got: the adaptability kit as well a as the dicing kit (two blades). I will have to return the dicing kit that I got earlier since it's not compile with the Sous Chef Pro. Glad I go this sorted out. The Breville rep. was super helpful, tsking a lot of time to get me the right information, I even got as sizeable discount on my parts/
  8. I think that someone who can't use a knife is sol.
  9. For those of us who have some physical limitations the dicing capability is a godsend.
  10. I plan to do just that first thing tomorrow morning.
  11. @Shelby I'm a few years late to this party. I got my Nutrimill Mockmill recently and ordered some white whole wheat berries. I made my first loaf this week and couldn't believe the difference in flavor. Quite an improvement. My recipe is one that I adapted from here. I simply omitted the filling. The flour was 1/3 freshly milled white wheat berries and 2/3 King Arthur AP. My sourdough was ripe. My next plan is to make my own AP using 1/3 each of white wheat berries, soft wheat berries and kamut berries. I don't imagine you've been making much bread with the heat you're having and that massive garden you having.

    Beef Back Ribs

I made these ribs recently for the first time. They were fantastic! Recipe.
  13. @ElsieD I have the Sous Chef 16 Pro and bought the Dicing Kit to go with it. It turns out that the Sous Chef Pro is not the same as the Sous Chef (?). The spindle in the kit does not fit my FP! I am very upset with myself and with Breville e for not making this clear.
  14. Does this help?
  15. My mistake, I though you'd got the set of three dicers.
  16. No. with the Sous Chef 16 the compatibility kit is not needed. I have the Sous Chef 16 and just ordered the 3 disc set.
  17. @ElsieD If I'm not mistaken, your dicing kit included an 8mm disc.
  18. Actually, now that you've got me thinking about it, I'd probably go for the 8mm disc if they made one for my model.
  19. I think I mentioned somewhere that the P-9 has only the 12mm grid and that is the only one available in for that model, at least as of now. For me, that's all I really need.
  20. If you get one you will be very pleased with it!!!
  21. This looks like a great recipe to use with the Paradeicers.
  22. The Paradice 9 has only the one dicing blade, it's the 12msize. I doubt that you'd need any others unless you're planning to dice everything.
  23. Beautiful! I'm thinking I'll use it for making potato salad next.
