I did order a bottle of the inner beauty hot sauce (I'm a sucker for hot sauce), so I'm thinking it would go good.

@lindag is that the bacon wrapped meat loaf recipe with the tangy sauce?
Yes, Elsie, however I use the recipe made in the meatloaf drip pan and I omit the bacon.

I made an awesome meat loaf yesterday, my favorite recipe from CI.
now that I want to make sandwiches I wonder what all I should put on them.
i generally use just mayo, mustard and a pinch of salt.
what do you put on yours?

I've been using SOS steel scrubbing pads on my s/s pot and it's a pain to get it clean and even then, it doesn't look very nice. I just want to make it easier on myself with the non-stick pot.

No, it wouldn't break. It is definitely metal, with what I'm guessing is a ceramic finish (?)

I received my new Ceramic IP liner via Amazon yesterday.
Finally, though it took six months to get here, it really looks to be worth the time and cost.
Only 6 oz. lighter than the original s/s pot. My s/s pot is a pain to clean, needing scouring every time I use it.
This one will make my life much easier.
In addition, I'm seeing now that the Amazon reviews aren't all that great, but I'm thinking that the one I got may be a new iteration of the old one. Mine seems very sturdy and not likely to scratch or dent.

I No way I'm looking at their Vegetable Spoon.
Oh come on....go ahead and look. It's gorgeous and it's quite a bit less than $30.

When I see AB these days the expression 'full of himself' comes to mind.

Just asking because would love to see you check out beef on weck at Schwabl's if you are going through Buffalo...
I have been making Kimmelweck Rolls for years using this recipe.
They are wonderful, the most flavorful rolls ever, family and friends love them!

I bought the Rosle VS 600 Vegetable Spoon last year and it's the best serving spoon I own.
(sorry but I ca't post a photo from my iPad)
It's this one.

The ones I saw were $9.99 for a 15.5 ounce jar. I only noticed them because of the discussion here.
You know, I think I need to go look at the jar again, maybe it was only 15.5 oz. I assumed it was the 24 oz. size because I thought there were only that size and the 32 oz..
Although it's not important, I just thought I should clarify.
i just looked, it IS the 24 oz. size.

I too found a source but my bank manager nixed the whole idea.
Yeah, I bought one jar. The checker, however, maintained that those who buy it swear by it.
it was $8.99 per 24 oz. jar. I hope it's worth it.

After looking for it for a very long time I finally found Rao's pasta sauce in one of the grocers in town!
I've read so much about it but was never able to find a source anywhere nearby; it's good to have found a source.

I have been proofing bread on the counter since Methuselah was the top so if the steam function doesn't work for proofing it's not a big deal. Still the function's there so I have to assume it works somewhere for some people under some conditions. Anyone have any success?
I only tried it once and had no success. I did it only out of curiosity because I already have a Bread Proofer
and it works perfectly.

Years ago I bought lovely electric tea kettle, it's stored in the pantry...I don't drink tea either.
I don't know why I bought it. Maybe because it was so pretty?

IIRC, for toast the rack goes in the middle position looking something like this: --___--

Baked potatoes are one of the few things I do not enjoy from the CSO.
Can you tell us what it is that you don't like?

My toast tray has gotten kind of scratched up so I'm going to order a new one. It's listed as a replacement part on the Cuisinart website. I might order another tray as well.
Thanks for mentioning this, I just found it on their website and ordered my replacement.

CANNOT, CANNOT relinquish my BSO.
Someone here reported that they had stacked the two ovens successfully.

Toast alone will make you throw out everything else in your kitchen to make room for your new CSO.
I agreed with this until my crumb tray became scorched and mottled in places.
I did as someone suggested here and covered it with foil.
However, my toast is still rather uneven on the bottom.
I'm thinking of trying to get a new crumb tray from them.
Has no one else had a problem with a blemished crumb tray? Surely I can't be the only one.
But let me clarify, the toast is the CSO is still WAY better than it was in my BSO where it always tasted as if it were baked.

Well I resisted with every fibre of my being but apparently I was sending out some sort of sigbal that I was only kidding about no space for a CSO. Today one showed up at my house and is now sitting in its box on my dining room table while I stare at my kitchen in dismay and wonder where in the hell I'm going to put it. Ingratitude is not my style so some how, some way I am going to have to find a place for it to live and thrive. Let the games begin. I know a few members who will be more than happy to welcome me to the Darkside. You know who you are
Anna, I don't know what your kitchen looks like but I ended up putting mine in a corner (with cabinets above) and I pull it forward when I use the steam function (only occasionally).
It's the same site I used for my BSO that is now residing on a shelf in the garage.

KFC now has spicy chicken and Carla Hall has her own brand of Nashville hot chicken.
I haven't tried either although I do tend to like things spicy. I just may pick up some KFC spicy next time I'm in town.

Anyone from 50 years ago who looked at these photos here would think that you people eat like Kings!

Is there a source for these?
I have purchased some chicken empanadas in the past and I'm wondering if there are any in the grocery stores, maybe frozen?
