I got two really really nice emails from Imperfect apologizing all over the place about what happened. They certainly do have excellent customer service. Like us, they are very curious as to how those items got into my box but also assured me it would never happen again. I got credited for the damaged items and for the item that didn't ship plus a little credit toward my next box.

So. This is weird. I just got my box from Imperfect. The box was pretty beat up...the tape on top had come un-stuck from the box etc. The box was a lot heavier than normal. I opened it up and these were in the box laying half out of the bag: They weigh 5 lbs. a piece and they beat the crap out of some things in the box. 😳 How the heck did these end up in there....I'm going to be emailing them. I'm sure someone is missing these parts...... Buns very smashed Poor Mandarin oranges But, amazingly everything else seems to be ok including a lemon tart! Anyone in the market for pump drives lol.

Good to see you. Had been wondering how you were! How nice of you to do those ribs for your friend--I'm sure he has no idea how much work it is!

I'll take anything that's not cooked by me lol. I don't know why I'm saying that......I haven't eaten out in many years even before Covid.

You're tougher woman than I. No AC and me don't get along. I hope it gets fixed SOON.

Thanks! I've added it to my ever growing Asian Market list. Need to get over there.

LOL! Thanks my friend :) It's just as hot and humid today. I'm sitting here trying to think of something not hot to eat. I like the dried noodle one but this one did hit the spot. Lots of radishes, spring onions, cilantro, basil and lettuce from the garden mixed it. I'd take a slush about right now too. KAY I would be dying. Is there a backlog on parts or repair people or both

Happy Friday everyone! Westminster Dog show this weekend. I'm excited. Second time in a billion years that they have held it outdoors. No spectators allowed but at least we can watch on TV. And that's your TV update lol. More fish...I think this was bass again. Big salad and pizza Store bought wild mushroom ravioli with a spinach Alfredo sauce and shrimp. Roast beef sandwiches and shishito Yesterday was so hot and humid. I swear the humidity was 100%. Walking outside was like walking through water. So I made a cold ramen noodle salad with a lime-fish sauce-brown sugar type dressing and some venison\pork Thai lettuce wraps.

I messed up and didn't stagger my Misfits and Imperfect orders so I got two boxes in two days. It's all good. Won't go to waste around here. The mushroom ravioli was pretty good for store bought. The cookies there in the middle SO good. Chocolate and sea salt. Pop one in the microwave for 15 seconds. Melty...salty...yum. They had cans of Ugly seltzer water. Not too bad. I think I got cherry. Not a strong taste, but it also doesn't leave a horrid aftertaste like some of them do. I've never had padron peppers. They seem like my beloved shishito peppers after a quick google. Anyone eaten these before

We really like not-so-sweet desserts sometimes so, yeah, rhubarb hits the spot. I only fill in with strawberries when I don't have enough rhubarb.
-
Oh I think you'd love rhubarb. Rhubarb crisp is like top 5 of my favorite desserts.

So many people here are smarter than I am...but I will share that ours look like that and die when it's too hot. Ours are never under shade. In KS we plant in spring when no freezes are expected and pick thru June and July if we are lucky. Those look like ours do when it's just too hot. Not saying that's what's happened to yours.

Me too!!! Give us allllllll the details. -
I wanna see more food! :) And I know you put this eyeball picture up just to torture me lol.

The only ones I've had that were sweeter were ones that grew wild up in the mountains where I used to live. This variety gets a little squishy quickly so I had to use them...otherwise I would have eaten them just as they are. We've decided to plant some...we'll see if we can grow them like she does :)

Needed my spaghetti night so venison meatballs it was. My friend gave me another bowl of her strawberries!!! I'm spoiled!!! Made another crisp. Threw a corned beef bought around St. Pat's in the pressure cooker and made sandwiches with the last of the homemade sauerkraut. Lots of lettuce to use from the garden so a big salad topped with everything I could find and some leftover fried chicken.

Boring! No way! Anything with morels is never boring :)

It's been a very rainy and chilly few days. I don't mind a bit! Glad I wasn't at a lake, though. The garden is extremely muddy so I can't get in there and weed...hopefully they don't overtake. Still getting gorgeous radishes and asparagus. Lots of comfort type food going on. Venison stroganoff and beans I put up last summer Dill and lemon roasted chicken with potatoes and parsnips A little break in the rain let Ronnie grill us some gorgeous beef steaks --a splurge for the weekend and to celebrate my dental woes being hopefully over! Venison spaghetti red with a bunch of toppings Shishito and avocado The most wonderful strawberry crisp I've ever had made with the berries from my friend. Sous vide then fried chicken. Missed the picture of the usual mashed potatoes and gravy to go with. Last night asparagus pasta salad and turkey sandwiches
