Writing this down to look for. Thank you!

Oh I slept a LOT during the day. I don't know how people work outside of the home and get sick like that. Like I said earlier....I don't know how to describe it exactly, but for my mental sanity I need to get up and have some "normalcy" in the evening or else I feel even worse.

It was my first time eating that--it is GOOD. I left it out all day but my house is cold and it didn't get as runny as it should have, but still very good. Both cheeses were a splurge but we don't go on vacations or anything so I figure we can do some cheese now and then. 😁 And I have an obsession with runny cheeses.

Ronnie's birthday was yesterday. He almost always asks for the same thing--chicken fried venison steaks, taters and gravy and a veg of some sort. Started out with some cheeses that I ordered from Murray's. This is the cheese on the left The cheese on the right is called Murray's cavemaster labs gilded goat Both were excellent. I liked the one above the best. The chicken fried venison Our canned green beans from the garden And, his favorite chocolate sheet cake with homemade ice cream

I needed to get up and move around--even when it felt like torture. It's better for my mental state of mind lol.

I think I'm winning the battle with the flu. I don't wish this stuff on my worst enemy. Lost my sense of taste and smell for 5 days. Super hard to cook without those two senses. I don't know how people do it. Luckily, that's back, but still have an excruciating sore throat and gunk. Anyway, a few meals: Made a tortilla stack with venison burger (was trying to eat as many hot peppers as I could to flush the sick out.....didn't work....and it tasted to me like cardboard topped with peppers lol. Ronnie liked it though.) Venison stew the next night Ronnie was hungry for a pork loin, so I sous vide a little one and then seared it in the Darto pan Served with mushroom gravy, sprouts and melted potatoes Next night manicotti. Such a pain to stuff. Maybe coughing my head off didn't help either lol. Salad to go with

Then I hope that solved your problem. Good job!

Did you find gunk?

Well, thank you for getting us an answer for this question. And, dang, I'm sorry you're having troubles.

Oh man, I thought we wouldn't make it. We were the VERY last stop to get fixed by Westar Energy. I ran outside when they got here --could have kissed them all. A couple of guys got in a fist fight in our yard. I was told they were blowing off steam lol. The power came on around 10 pm. I was elated.

When we were without power for 12 days after an ice storm, it was awful during the time, but in retrospect, I kinda had "fun" adapting and figuring out what I could cook etc. by candle light, using just the burners on our stove that I could light. I remember the first thing I cooked was a chicken chili. Thank goodness for wine and candles and flashlights. It sure was cold in the mornings, though, lol.

I'm super impressed that squash stayed good for that long!

Those carrot salads are SO COOL looking. I want to do this. I know all that planning and then not to be with your family was hard, but at least you had each other and your furry babies and your wonderful camper. And now you don't have to share all of your goodies. 😁

Ronnie does this all the time, but he always explains that the store was out of whatever is missing. Last time it was sugar 🤷♀️

Me too!

I have the flu something fierce so I'm not firing on all cylinders. Forgive if a dumb question. Does the milk container (not the bag) have a lid?

When I got my Vacmaster I wanted vac pack every thing in the house, now I want to smoke everything lol.

Kim, I won't do either of those any other way either. I did the BEP's for the first time (I think) in there--I added a ham hock and some tomatoes. Like you said the beans were so creamy and good!
