Italian chicken with pasta and @ElainaA's cherry tomato sauce
  2. I'm swooning too. Everything looks to die for. *eyeing the steaks I laid out for dinner with disdain*
  3. Oh I am so jealous. Mine are still up. I haven't had the strength yet. Plus with Scout, I don't know how I'll get it done lol. She's into EVERYTHING. But one look at that face and you can't even work up a hint of irritation lol. Those are cool . Can't wait to read the links you provided Oh I rewrite many times. Like more than three usually. If it's just Ronnie going I have to be veerrrrrry specific.

It was pretty good...needed some salt. It was a creamy slaw and yes, it came dressed in a plastic container in a cooler type thing with ice packs.

    Dinner 2020

My mom and step dad gave me a gift cert. from Zingerman's for Christmas. I've always wanted to try their corned beef sandwich kit. I decided to do it and received it Tuesday. Came in handy last night because I needed something easy to make for dinner. They say it's the best corned beef ever. It really was very good. I didn't get a pic of every thing but it comes with all the things you need. Loaf of rye bread, mustard, the meat, dressing, swiss cheese, cole slaw, kraut, half sour pickles, brownies, coffee cake, tater chips, place mats, napkins. You name it, it came with it. 'Twas a fun meal. This mustard is really really good

Oh I slept a LOT during the day. I don't know how people work outside of the home and get sick like that. Like I said earlier....I don't know how to describe it exactly, but for my mental sanity I need to get up and have some "normalcy" in the evening or else I feel even worse.

It was my first time eating that--it is GOOD. I left it out all day but my house is cold and it didn't get as runny as it should have, but still very good. Both cheeses were a splurge but we don't go on vacations or anything so I figure we can do some cheese now and then. 😁 And I have an obsession with runny cheeses.

Ronnie's birthday was yesterday. He almost always asks for the same thing--chicken fried venison steaks, taters and gravy and a veg of some sort. Started out with some cheeses that I ordered from Murray's. This is the cheese on the left The cheese on the right is called Murray's cavemaster labs gilded goat Both were excellent. I liked the one above the best. The chicken fried venison Our canned green beans from the garden And, his favorite chocolate sheet cake with homemade ice cream

I think I'm winning the battle with the flu. I don't wish this stuff on my worst enemy. Lost my sense of taste and smell for 5 days. Super hard to cook without those two senses. I don't know how people do it. Luckily, that's back, but still have an excruciating sore throat and gunk. Anyway, a few meals: Made a tortilla stack with venison burger (was trying to eat as many hot peppers as I could to flush the sick out.....didn't work....and it tasted to me like cardboard topped with peppers lol. Ronnie liked it though.) Venison stew the next night Ronnie was hungry for a pork loin, so I sous vide a little one and then seared it in the Darto pan Served with mushroom gravy, sprouts and melted potatoes Next night manicotti. Such a pain to stuff. Maybe coughing my head off didn't help either lol. Salad to go with
  20. Guess what arrived on my door step yesterday? Excited to see what trouble I can get into with this
  21. Then I hope that solved your problem. Good job!
  22. Did you find gunk?
  23. Well, thank you for getting us an answer for this question. And, dang, I'm sorry you're having troubles.
  24. Oh man, I thought we wouldn't make it. We were the VERY last stop to get fixed by Westar Energy. I ran outside when they got here --could have kissed them all. A couple of guys got in a fist fight in our yard. I was told they were blowing off steam lol. The power came on around 10 pm. I was elated.
