I found our reno to be a very trying 6 weeks and we had a great contractor. There's at least a few days of demolition, then electrical and plumbing, then flooring...then finishing the flooring...then cabinets, then countertops. Weeks. Having said all that, you'll be glad you did. We'd love to follow along with the project

I always thought that iPot did too many things. It was a dizzying array of functions that most people would never need. Engineers run amok. Once they got done with different sizes there were no more line extensions to make.

They may also have saturated their market and had only wedding gifts left as new business

I think I remember a review by the estimable Inquirer reviewer. Sounded like a manic mess to me.

So much to comment on. I'll restrain myself. FDA approves medicines that at the wrong dose might be harmful. That's not approving a poison. MSG is not dangerous. Ever eat a bag of Doritos? That's a shitload of glutamate. Nobody has died. Medical writers and reporters are among the most uninformed, stop listening to them. They'll say anything for a click.

Rotovap is kind of a no heat distillation. Anything volatile (ie flavor) will come off and probably at a lower temp than the water you are trying to remove I think I'd experiment with shorter times to hopefully concentrate flavor , but leaving a usable liquid behind. Its not obvious to me that this would work.
