Hi, I have 2 packages of frozen cryovacked (does the K belong there grammatically?) cooked lobster tails. I have had them for 4 years. They have NO visible freezer damage. Are they still safe?
There is (or was 3 years ago) a small Thai grocer on Locust St just past 43rd street across from CVS. This is near the University of Pennsylvania. Here's a linked map: P P Grocery ← Ooohh Cool! Thanks. Ill go to Maido today too
Are you sure you have the spelling right? In Malay (and I believe Indonesian), "pondan" means "homosexual," with the connotation of "faggot"! ← Yepper! Here is the companies website http://www.pondan.com/
They should have a special folder for shipping requests.. Id pay good money for Linco Beer shampoo (UK) and Pondan Company Konnyaku Jelly mixes (indonesia)
.............when you break up with your boyfriend cause he states that all sushi restaurants should be closed permanently cause its nasty! I dont miss him...
Is it understood that melon pan usually doesn't contain any melon flesh or juice? ← Yes. I just thought it was gonna be sweeter thats all, but it was good, I ate it all
Im eating the Melon-pan from Maido in Narberth, Pa. Its nothing like I expected. Its quite homey and not as dessertlike as I thought it would be... Good for a breakfast bread I suppose. Im drinking my fave gogo no kocha with it..
The kits are in the Seaweed Aisle at HMart in Elkins Park... BTW Hmart has green spicy Sashimi Konnyaku and Kushi Dango with sweet soy syrup, and on weekends they sometimes have a woman making fresh Kimchi. Oh and you can get convenient jars of that seaweed salad they sell at the supermarket sushi counters. Hmart in Elkins has the best selection of Pocky et al. Now drive on out to Assi Plaza in Lansdale and tell me what you think of that place too
If your child came home with little boxes of these: http://www.hotlix.com/insect_candy/crickettes.html would you think, "Neat-o" and try them with him/her, or throw them away immediately?
Raw onion! Especially raw red onion! I had some sushi at Genuardi's supermarket awhile back that had "salad" including raw red onion in it and it was too harsh and nasty.
http://www.maidookini.com/ Their website. They NEED more publicity. They serve Yakisoba, Okinomiyaki, Onigiri (Kombu, Salmon, Codroe, Tuna etc) Curry and Miso Soup.
Yes, the one in Elkins Park. I couldnt recall what that area was... I recently went to Washington Ave's 3 Asian Mkts (None of those had much for the Japanese/ Korean market in them) Im sure you will be pleasantly surprised by BOTH Hmart and Assi Plaza (Lansdale) Lemme know... Unfortunately I have to go back to Washington Ave soon to feed my new Nata De Coca obsessesion (they have many flavors down there)
Maybe you have to find Sake Lees instead of regular Yeast? Somewhere I read that Sake Lees are used in Japanese bread, but that article could be wrong.
