  1. You're welcome. A few years ago, that place was my life. If it would stay still long enough to photograph or scan, I would try to sell it.
  2. It says that the listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in it.
  3. Did you hear about the little mole family that woke up early one morning. First Daddy Mole peeked out of the hole and took a big sniff. He smelled some delicious bacon frying. Next Mommy Mole did the same but she smelled bread being toasted. Now Baby Mole tried and tried to reach the top of the burrow but he just couldn't. Finally, in frustration he cried...."All I smell is mole-asses. Sneaking out of the thread now.
  4. I saw one in Des Moines parked in the lot of a Mexican restaurant. When we went inside, I scoped out all the customers but wasn't able to pick the driver out. Must keep some "civies" to change into
  5. "Oh I wish I were an Oscar Meyer Weiner" And now I am!
  6. I'll bet the staff at the hospital has their bibs on and their forks ready for Kerry's annual parade of goodies.
  7. If worse comes to worse, buy a seed style bird feeder and fill it with the sesame seeds. They will enjoy the change and you can use the seeds up. You could even just scatter some seeds on the ground as a test.
  8. Quick, what did you "miss load" to lose your loading rights? I need to do it too. I hate the job.

    Breakfast! 2018

If it were me, the next stop would be back to bed to sleep off all that wonderful looking food! And please don't tell me that you save Sunday for your big breakfast!
  10. Sounds like it would beat hardtack hands down. A drizzle of lemon would take care of that pesky scurvy too!
  11. I feel bad that I mocked reusing produce bags. I didn't mean the heavy ones that we all use for a bunch of different things. My former neighbor washed and hung out the ones that come on a roll and take a minute or more to figure out how to get them open. I did notice that most have an "open here" label printed on them now.
  12. I love non-stick foil so much that I just may have sponged it off and reused it! Yup, might have happened. Used to have a crazy neighbor who washed all those flimsy produce bags and hung them on her clothes line. I swore I would never be as tight as she was.....but I worry about myself at times.
  13. He was my first "Chef Crush." So hard to believe.
  14. Thanks for the suggestions. Daughter and I email at least once a day so we keep up to date. We have an awesome butcher's shop here and trade amazing bacon, ham ball mix , bacon sausage and more for TJ's stuff. All the meat is sourced from local farms. Win-win.
  15. The green in my kitchen is caused by the envy I feel seeing the amazing meals you all turn out!
  16. My grandmother (Nana) made what she called a hot milk cake. So simple but so good. I never did find a recipe until I stumbled on something called a lazy daisy cake....Bingo, there is was Still simple and still good but it wouldn't be much at all without the memories that go along with it. My mother, on the other hand. was hard pressed to even bake a cake from a box mix! Were it not for VandeKamp's bakery, I might have never have had a birthday cake as a child.
  17. Is that what they're calling SMOG now?

    Breakfast! 2018

I love the plates and I love your rubber ducky too. Now may I please have half of your sandwich?
  19. Dare ya to try!
  20. Look like hand grenade molds to me. Something leftover from a G.I. Joe accessory kit.

    Dinner 2018

It all looks like dessert to me. Top is a mocha brownie, to the right of that a date bar with cream cheese frosting and the green deal is a matcha mousse with raspberry sauce. Am I close We need a tongue in cheek emoji
  22. You sneaked past us . I had planned to put out road blocks so we could meet you! Thanks for taking us along again.
  23. Okay, Bisquick, Hamburger Helper, Shake cheese and canned soup all had a welcome place in our camper. With two little kids who were picky eaters, I knew there would always be something that they would eat. And to be honest, the whole point of camping for me was to get out of the kitchen and into nature and all those things made it easier by far. And I can't forget the thing that was a family favorite ...Jiffy Pop. If using these "crutches" makes for a better family meal time, go for it with my blessings!
  24. I got to thinking about that celery stalk and recalled an Amish friend telling me that she and the other quilters in her family always make sure that there is an error in every quilt they make. It is to show God that they are not driven by the need for perfection. If there is a God, she must love me and my messy life!
  25. Please note that in the last photo, the head of celery on the left has a stalk out of place! Had to find something, anything to make me feel better doncha know? There is hope here in recently thawed Iowa. Many planters in the fields today.
