Have spent significant chunks of my life in the following metropolitan areas: New York, Boston, Seattle, and most recently San Diego. Have worked in many fields, including as a computer geek, a minister, a writer, a band road manager ... even worked in a restaurant (albeit briefly). Have an abiding love of eating and cooking food, with special fondness for ethnic/regional cuisines, especially (but far from exclusively) Asian and Jewish. Also have an intense personal interest in cookery to encourage healthy weight management.
