Making wine

There are some links on home winemaking in the last post of this thread. Other than that, there really isn't a thread in the archives devoted to making wine at home. Maybe we've had some new members come on board, though, who can contribute an answer to your quesiton.

I don't make my own at home, but our wine group uses Make Your Own in Westchester, NY to make a yearly batch. This year we are making a Super Tuscan. Last year we made a Cab/Merlot blend. Its a lot of fun, educational, and much easier than dealing with things at home.

Here's the website:

I'm sure there are places like this in many other locations. The folks at MYO seem to really know their stuff.

Actually im an amateur wine maker myself and althoug new at it I enjoy the hobby very much.

My thought was to find some other folks who already make thier own wine or want to do so and enjoy a project here in cyberspace.
