Our daughter is getting married and we are looking for a site in northern NJ that is unique and allows us to select our own caterer and bring our own wine. Some possibilities are an inn, restaurant, or farm. The # of guests beeing rather small should hopefully provide us with some unique options . we are hoping that the egullet community will have some good suggestions.

The great thing about barbeque is that when you get hungry 3 hours later....you can lick your fingers

Avoid cutting yourself while slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold them while you chop away.

Bamboo Brook/Willowood Arboretum is a very nice place in Chester Township in Morris County. It has a stone barn and beautiful gardens and grounds. It is a little pricey to rent, especially if you're not from the county! However, you can bring your own caterer. Check out the website of Morris County Parks Dept. for more info www.morrisparks.net.

Both damn tasty Kopici also has an outdoor statuary garden for photos...the garden is old and I am not sure if still maintained but Frank the owner is great. He used to be the chef at Macalusos Catering in Hawthorn. And well, Lou's food speaks volumes for itself.
