We are looking to plan a last minute surprise 60th birthday brunch in about 2 weeks - probably Sun 10/23.

Looking for new ideas for places.

30 +/- guests - 5 or so will be kids age 3-13.

We live in Englewood Cliffs & have thought of most of the usual:

Assembly, Bicycle Club, Villa Amalfi, but are hoping someone might give us some names we didnt think of.

Thanks

Do you definitely want to have it in that immediate area?

How much are you interested in spending per person?

Having that info will help us make suggestions.

"Wow--this is a fancy restaurant! They keep bringing us more water and we didn't even ask for it!" --My 5.75 year-old niece, about Bread Bar

What about the Clinton Inn (Christinos Restaurant) in Tenafly? They are supposed to do a nice brunch.

Sanzari's New Bridge Inn has a private dining room upstairs, I am sure they could put together a very nice meal for you.

Just wanted to thank everyone for the input - we are going with the brunch at the River Palm in Fair Lawn.

We usually frequent the Edgewater location, but brunch is only in Fairlawn. They were very accomodating.

I will report on how it turns out.
