Just back from a week in France and breakfast each morning was good coffee, good butter, good jam and great bread.

I would like to continue this pattern.

I can get everything else here but the bread.

Do any of you have a suggestion on where I can get some good bagets?

Merci,

Bob

In addition to Balthazaar, I also reccomend Patisserie St Michel in Teaneck, who also has exceptional pastry:

Verrilis in Morristown makes some of the best bread I've ever had, but no baguettes. If you can, call ahead and find out when the bread is coming out of the oven. You won't regret it.
