Is there really a significant nutritional difference? I don't like brown rice, and I'm tired of getting stuck with it because people claim is so much healthier.

Brown rice does have more vitamins, minerals, fiber, potentially useful phytochemicals--but you can get all those things from vegetables and fruits and nuts and other grains, so if you're eating a various diet, it wouldn't be a great loss to have white rice instead.
