Wine Recalled in Contamination Scare

Thousands of cases of wine have been recalled from off-licences across the country after it was feared that particles of glass were inside the bottles.
The Californian winemaker Ernest and Julio Gallo made the dramatic move after up to 180 bottles were thought to have been contaminated.
The Turning Leaf Sauvignon Blanc is one of of seven wines in the Turning Leaf range and was being used in conjunction with a free flights promotion in Threshers’ wine shops.
