Thanks for the recommendations.

What do you think about Romanissimo"s in East Rutherford as they have music and dancing on the weekends?

Looking forward to "THE" resturant in Hackensack.

I have heard good things about "The Resturant" .

My boss has lunch there a lot. It has to be decent - for it to survive in that part of Hackensack.-

Had a marvellous experience at "The Restaurant".

The food was incredible in style and the presentation was great.

The decor is unusual and at first my husband was slightly put off by the darkness and the setting , in the lobby

of a apartment complex with a deli as you walk in.  This was soon dispelled by the wonderful service and the

quality of food.

I had an old favourite that brought me back to my childhood , Beef Wellington. Was individually served on a

bed of spinach, I did think the sauce was slightly rich.  My husband had the special Angus beef with

gorgonzola cheese.. perfect.  I started with Lump baby crab cakes on a bed on greens.. perfect.

We had such a wonderful time that my pursuit of a restaurant for my mother's birthday has been settled. We

are going back. The piano player in the back ground was another great touch. All in all very elegant

experience.

At Homung Nangmyom we usually order Bulgogi ....

The name of the place we go to is Hae Woon Dae, not the above. But I think that is the location. Whether it is or not it is the one with all the white lights in front (like Christmas lights but all year round), south of Peking Duck House (which is at 411 Peirmont, so I don't know if the address of the Korean place is 208 or 570 Piermont, there are two Korean restaurants listed in closter, neither of which is named Hae Woon Dae - I'm so confused!)

i may have asked this months ago, but, how is the peking duck house?  we have friends who live near there and tell me good things about it.  in fact, we're supposed to be going soon for dinner.

Just for kicks, I thought I'd bump this up because it's so old, and because I found it on google when trying to help richw on this thread in the NY forum where he's looking for stuff in Bergen.

Can anyone help him?
