Bean sprout pork and jasmine rice. This has been a staple weeknight meal for a long time. Brown ground pork with garlic, add fish sauce, white pepper, and a little sugar, and then finish with bean sprouts and scallions. I added minced jalapeno and ginger with the pork, and forgot to add the sugar.
ETA: This is probably an ancient recipe since it uses white pepper rather than chiles for heat.
