I'm not sure if dive bar is within this category but their's Jimmy's Corner near Times Square and Rudy's Bar and Grill.
It's not a place you want to take a date to but it's a really friendly relaxing place with no pretensions and friendly service. A girl actually took me to Rudy's when we were in college .
