So I'm heading to London and wanted to pick up bottles that I wouldn't be able to find at all here or would be very difficult to find.  On the list is Amer Picon and Blanton's gold edition.  I'd love to hear what else I should keep an eye out for or hunt down.  Any thoughts are much appreciated.  Thanks!

Two of my favourite places I would suggest are must-visits are:

Milroy's of Soho for a vast whisky collection

and

Gerry's Wines and Spirits for a huge selection of bottles from around the world.

The two are within walking distance of each other.

Whisky Exchange, Milroy's, and Gerry's as mentioned, also Vintage House in Soho (they're all pretty close, the last 3 are all in Soho and WE is in Covent Garden).

Get independently bottled scotch whisky and rum - the Whisky Exchange and Vintage House especially are great for rum, all have superb whisky selections.
