Whatever happened to Biba Caggiano?

 

She was everywhere, all the time, won tons of awards, many books, now nothing.

Did Lidia Bastianich overshadow her?

I don't remember Biba Caggiano, but I really liked Daisy Martinez, she had a good show on TV. I have her book, haven't used it in quite a while. This was my introduction to sofrito.

She's usually in there every day.  She had breast cancer a while go and I believe her public persona did lessen after that. I did see her in the restaurant a few months ago.
