I had some of these yesterday. OMG so so good.

They are boneless fillets of white anchovies in vinegar & oil...

You eat them on crackers or bread, They arent salty.

Aside from Whole Foods, where else can I buy them?

Are they "In Season" at Costco? Ive read they sell then there but a call to Costco says no.

Anyone have any dishes they make with them?

Im quite obsessed since yesterday. Im afraid Im gonna ring up quite a tab in them since they are $25+ a package

If you ever get a chance to make these from scratch, go for it. They were my first dish, arriving at a friend's apartment in Genova on my first trip to Italy, and they blew my mind like few dishes do in a lifetime.

Usually if u buy them fresh in Greece where i come from u can get them for $2/lb. They are very easy to debone and marinate if you can find them. Alternatively you could try a local small fish from your area as a substistute

these are bocarones, very common in Spain. I lived there two years and had them as often as possible. very vinagre taste very cheap then recently in the last 10 years or so imported here very expensive.

There's a sale going on right now at La Tienda. Boquerones in olive oil and vinegar are half price: $12.20 for two 2.65-oz packages (75 g drained weight). They keep very well in the fridge, so stock up!

While you're at it, there's other good stuff in the sale, like these outrageous chocolate-covered figs filled with a chocolate and brandy mousse.

I've also bought excellent cooking chorizo from them. The sale price works out to $11/pound, which isn't bad for such a quality product.
