Help with identifying a plastic/paper substrate

Recommended Posts

I recently saw some kind of sheets which felt like thick cellophane paper, almost like plastic. This material could be used to cook on a grill pan, poach on an open flame, in a microwave and in oven. Unfortunately there was no label / name with the sheets.

Can anyone shed some more light on this material?

It did not seem to be Cling Wrap, Parchment or Silicon.

That would be like the old oven bags you used to see all the time - cooking your turkey in them was the height of style! Saw a bunch of boxes of them in a thrift store a couple of days ago.

I think Reynolds still makes them.
