You can still find milk in Ontario on what could be described as a black market by opponent to raw milk. That being said, I'd rather see a controlled market with strict rules than a total ban.

In the US, it depends on which state you live in. In Seattle, I could buy raw milk in the grocery store. In Texas and North Dakota, I think you'd have to do a cowshare to get it.

Raw milk is still available in California. I can get it at the local supermarket. Very expensive. I believe it's better to have a controlled market than to ban it all together.

I grew up on raw milk and have never had any health issues. Of course my grandparents were very careful to keep everything very clean.

I want to know where it's coming from.

I think its ilegal here in Missouri. I've been drinking it for about a month

now and LOVE it.

Milk is pasterized to prevent certain diseases, hower, the risks are overblown nowadays. It is often sold for 'animal consumption only'.

I don't mind buying unpasteurized milk from a farmer, if it is sold fresh right on the farm as it is being taken from the cows. I've made some of the best damned butter that way, using the seperated cream taken from the milk before it was chilled. Hmmm!
