I have had one of these for ages. Tough and cheap.

Cuisinart Mini-Prep Plus DLC-2A Processorir?t=egulletcom-20&l=am2&o=1&a=B0000645Y

I've had one for years. I got it at Costco as a "premium" when I bought a Cuisinart slow cooker.

There is a really new - multi-purpose one just introduced. The "Veggie Bullet"  by Magic Bullet. I saw it demonstrated at Walmart.

It is a small food processor and also slices, shreds and spiralizes through a tube into a bowl.

Right now priced at $149. at Walmart, Bed, bath &, Kohls but I am pretty sure the price will come down.

Amazon shows it but sold by "third parties" and the price is higher.  They have their own website and have been on TV a few times.

I haven't bought one yet but since my two smaller Cuisinarts both died (more than 30 years old, so I can't complain) and all I have is the big 20 cup - which is too large for many of my tasks - I think this will fit the bill for me.
