    PC Food Brand

Some of the meat dishes are a littl4e on the salty side. Overall I have been pleased with the products. The mac and cheese tastes better than the blue box.
  4. Yikes!
  5. www.lodgemfg.com
  6. I have several ceramic knifes and love them. They have one inherent fault. You can’t use them to chop food except on resin based cutting boards. Even then you have to be careful. They are designed to be slicing knifes. But for some rather delicate slicing they are fantastic.
  7. They get $0.69 here, $0.35 is cheep.
  8. This is the same trap as “fat-free” food that gets loaded with sugar to make it taste and feel right. Though this does remind mew of a product they used to sell called Diet Vodka. It was 60 proof rather than 80. so I guess they added a little more water to the grain alcohol for that.
  9. Being from northern NJ originally that was one thing that surprised me when I visited Regina. Unlike Chicago they have some great bagel places. You guys lucked out!
  10. If you had seen The People Vs. Larry Flint, Parody is protected as free speech. At least at the moment.
  11. I don't feel I'm missing it. You can't miss something you've never had in the first place. Great point. Reminds me of an old joke. ...sure beats ham!
  12. I have seen the real deal in trays of 6 in the frozen food section. Blue ribbon or some such brand. I will check the name. It’s one of those companies that specialize in “family” dinners. Here in the Midwest they run advertisements featuring Al from Happy Days. I think banquet makes a version too.
  13. I think it was the rodeo burger, it also had two fried onionrings.
  14. Where are there any left? I thought they went under.
  15. I thought some would get a laugh out of this Cartoon.
  16. Yes the age is 18.
  17. It might be considered to be politically incorrect to do so but you can. Under law you can refuse service to anyone as long as it is not based (in most states) on Race, sex, religion or country of origin. Studio 54 was a prime example of this.

    Aspartame

Splenda is made from sugar it is Dextrose and maltodextrin sucrose made by McNeil. It has a slight aftertaste. There web site has a lot of useful info on the product. BTW NutraSweet is in a blue package. Saccharin is pink. Splenda is yellow.
  19. If I found a child at a business dinner I was hosting they would not be doing business with me. That’s totally inappropriate. If the sitter cancels ether get another or call off the evening. As far as the gift certificate thing a straw man argument much like your other two suppositions. Not saying it doesn’t happen but Ford owners are seldom given a Cadillac for a gift. I think the same applies to most situations. There are places where disruptive or boorish individuals are not welcome and should be asked to leave whatever the age. As to kids playing in places like that it’s inviting an accident to happen.
  20. I would agree with that! Any disruptive element should be removed. Childeren under 6 don't belong at such a place.
  21. So Bernie and his wife where enjoying dinner at their favorite Chinese place and his wife mused “ do you think there are Jews in China?” “Sadie maybe we can ask the waiter.” Bernie retorted. So they did. Bernie asked if they had Chinese Jews. After a long wait the waiter returned. “We have Apple Juice, Orange Juice, Pineapple juice but no Chinese Juice.”
  22. I did not like how they treated smokers. I will not be back for that or the subpar food.

    Grow My Own

Where did you get the seeds or plants? I have grown tobacco and would love to try coffee.
  24. Unless you have a doctors evaluation I doubt you will get too far. Seek medical attention.
  25. Not only that but when you go to another function and they make your dish. Badly I might ad and then tell other guests that it is your recipe. Or conversely they make it well and claim it themselves.
