As would several fish or chicken dishes I could think of. Pasta if done well works too. Remember to factor in the cost of equipment you will have to rent or buy. Chaffing dishes, sterno serving items and alike. What time limitations are you under? Is there enough room to cook the items there or will you have to precook and hold? How formal an event is planned? What foods do they like or dislike? Will it be self service or served?

Than please back up your statement. From what I have read and found abuse of the substance is the key. In either short or long term from most published sources. Unless you are predisposed or allergic to thujone suffering seizures or hallucinations is rare. Mugwort tea would be more apt to cause a change in reality perception. I remember my mother’s horticulture books that listed some plants as poisonous. It was not until I found some older books on herbs and pharmacology that I was able to get more of an answer. Belladonna is one of those plants and until you come to understand the how and why of it. Poisonous is more of a scare tactic than explanation. Much of the lore surrounding the use of Absinthe seems to come off the same way. Look at some of the other lies told about “drugs” over history. From cigarettes being healthful to LSD causing chromosome damage. All designed to scare the masses.

From what I have been able to find absinthe itself is relatively benign. It is prolonged use that is the problem. A few times of getting drunk on it is not a problem or benefit. Long-term use will cause some problems not normally associated with alcohol abuse.

If you like deserts it is the place to stop. Burgers are nice too.

I will try and dig up a link to the law. It does have some rather strange factors in it. In some of the drafts the answer would be NO. I will have to look into this. You would be notified by the hospital to come in. someone calling “off the street.” Would not be given any information regarding care, status or treatment. This is due in part to muck rakers that would call hospitals to get “dirt” on people. I am not saying that this new law is good or bad, just strange. It would not have allowed Rocco to get the information depicted.

Rent Dinner Rush, much closer to the real thing.

I think that C is the answer. We already know that they did some catch up with Gideon so it would make sense that it is not the first time or the last. Also the whole calling the hospital thing had to be staged. Hospitals do not give details over the phone like they tried to represent. That new privacy law has stringent rules as to the dissemination of patient info.

Only the bad ones.

could very well be. and what was rocco saying about not setting up anything with a payroll company? i mean, when you open a business with 50 employees, or whatever it is, you'd think you give ol' ADP a call in within the first week or 2. More like as you plan to even start the place.

Sorry to disagree: chemical compound, NaNO3, a colorless, odorless crystalline compound that closely resembles potassium nitrate (saltpeter or niter) in appearance and chemical properties. It is soluble in water, alcohol, and liquid ammonia. Sodium nitrate is also called soda niter or Chile saltpeter. It is found naturally in large deposits in arid regions of Chile, Peru, Argentina, and Bolivia as caliche, a crude, impure nitrate rock or gravel. Natural deposits are the major source of sodium nitrate; it is also obtained in small amounts as a byproduct of chlorine production by the nitrosyl chloride process, in which sodium chloride (common salt) is reacted with nitric acid. Sodium nitrate is used in making potassium nitrate, fertilizers, and explosives. It was formerly an important raw material for the production of nitric acid. chemical compound, KNO3, occurring as colorless, prismatic crystals or as a white powder; it is found pure in nature as the mineral saltpeter (or niter). It is slightly soluble in cold water and very soluble in hot water. When it decomposes (on heating) it releases oxygen. Potassium nitrate is prepared commercially by the reaction of potassium chloride with sodium nitrate. It has been used extensively in the manufacture of gunpowder since about the 12th cent.; it is also used in explosives, fireworks, matches, and fertilizers, and as a preservative in foods (especially meats). It is sometimes used in medicine as a diuretic.

Towne and Country on Rt. 37 in Toms River. The Freedman's Bakery also has some good stuff.

So does Burger King. In Ontario too. Not sure about the rest of Canada. It's far from authentic but BK's poutine is a fantastic pick-up on the way home from the bar. They did in Regina Sk.

He explaines it on his site.

As much as I dislike the “Italian beef” concept Portillo’s dose a better job on beef. It is tender and flavorful without being over seasoned. Mr. Beef uses MSG and it is detracting.

Mikes on 37W in Toms River comes to mind. Right off of 35 south on Mantoloking (county 528) is good. Sorry I don’t recall the name. Another place on Monmouth road in West Long Branch just north of Park Av. Off of 35 had great fish.

Hang loose and enjoy yourself. You should be able to find something you like. What are the must do places in your world?

Good point. Do you think that natives of foreign countries want to visit the areas around our bases the way we like to visit Little Tokyo, etc.? I can only speak about the areas I have mentioned. I do have some friends in Germany I could ask. We could at least find out about there.
-
I would think that the areas around military bases might be close. Some of the accounts of Germany and S. Korea fit in a general sense.
