SO true!

Because I like my cocktails as easy as possible, I ordered this and this and this. I have #1 in the fridge chilling for the cocktail hour and I'm excited to try it! C'mon five o'clock!

I absolutely have to make this!!! I've got nice corn, I just have to get the poblano and the pepper. Can't wait....what's better than fresh corn!?
-
I will never ...Spend the evening with my hand in a glass of ice water after grabbing a ripping hot pan from the oven.

I use a lot of these for leftovers and various parts of my dogs' food. Mine are similar to those shown but a bit taller in a couple of sizes that are just perfect; they seal tight and can withstand a drop onto my tile floor. one size fits a 16-oz. can and the other holds about 24 ozs. At any given time there are about four in my fridge.

I bought this Chic Wrap from KAF after reading so many rave reviews about it there. I was quite disappointed as it is very much like Stretch-Tite but thinner and flimsier, I didn't like it at all and for now am sticking with Costco's Stretch Tite. So far it's the best of any I've tried but I'm still looking.

I think I'd rather have my eggs go stale more quickly than to have poop on the shells.

Thank you... I was guessing it had more to do with the products being wet, like fish and veg and meat, as opposed to flour , rice, dried pasta, etc.
-
If this was mentioned earlier here I missed it...why is it called a 'wet' market?

While rummaging in the overstuffed freezer the other day I came across a package of meatloaf mix that has got to be used. Despite the relentless heat (high 90s for the foreseeable future), I'm going to make my favorite CI recipe tonight. (that's what AC is for, right?) meanwhile I'm wishing for September!!!

i have the Oxo Corn Stripper and it is really worth having. It's now a couple of bucks more than what I paid (a few years ago) from Amazon.

How big is the box? I mean, is it bigger than the Costco/Stretch-tite Box? Will it fit in a drawer? Having to store it in a cabinet is gonna be a deal breaker for my kitchen.

AnnaNs comments in another thread prompted me to want to talk about plastic wraps. I can't seem to find one that doesn't frustrate me. Currently I'm using the Costco brand which clings to everything. I think I've tried all the different kinds, if they cling to the bowl or food, then they don't cling to plastic containers. Most want to cling to itself better than anything else. Is there a brand that really works for you?

It must make up in taste for what it lacks in looks.

I had to Google Weetabix too. Is there an American equivalent?, I'm not sure I know what they're like.

I have done a similar thing recently and left the freezer door (out in my garage) not quite closed because a big package of something prevented it from closing tight. Didn't lose any food because I use that freezer often but the third shelf down is about four inches thick with ice. Need to get off my rump and clean and defrost but not til the weather cools down, right now it's at least 80F out there. And it's just about my least favorite job to do.

You certainly have a well-stocked kitchen.

Anyone here getting this? Field Skillet

OMG! That's the funniest thing I've heard in a really long time!!! Thanks for having the courage to post it.

I have this same question, My favorite recipe uses saltines and I have also heard that Ritz makes for a great meatloaf and I want to try that next time.

Sorry about your disappointing weather, I do wish I could send you about 25ºF of mine. It will be in the mid 90s today, too much for me, the faint of heart.

Summer heat is one of the best things about the Instant Pot!

I 'm just starting up a new sourdough starter (my old one that had been in the back of the fridge had gone ugly) and I need a good recipe for Sourdough Rye. Any suggestions for something not too difficult?

I don't see the mini on Amazon US, is It only avaiable in Canada?
