That's one way to look at it. I see it as ranching/farming growing a business.

How kind of you to point out my error,

Love your splendid reno. I hope all the negative vibes disappear when you move back in. You did a great job and I know you'll enjoy it for many years.

I am an unabashed fan of The Pioneer Woman, as I have said before here when the subject came up (I belive it was in another thread). I watch all her shows and I've cooked a number of her recipes, all of which were successful. Her husband's family goes back several generations and they have acquired property for many years. I love what the Drummonds are doing for their small town, building new businesses and giving people jobs. They are involved with their schools, the businesses and their church. They seem to me to be a very nice family...and if I were going to throw sh*t on people, it certainly wouldn't be them, there are millions of far better targets, just watch the news.

We actually have a Popeye's in town but I've never been there. Now I'll have to make it a point to stop there when I go that far into Missoula. I'm sure I'll find lots to like.

They say on the poster in the shop that it's available only temporarily. I'm hoping that it'll be very popular and they'll keep it. As to their tuna sandwich, it is beyond awful.

SMOKED meatloaf??? I have never experienced that. And I'm a big meatloaf fan. Don't have a smoker, tho.

I've been watching Ina Garten cook a lot with white truffle butter so I bought some from Dartagnan last week. Then I saw what looked like perfect recipe to use it in: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/tagliarelle-with-truffle-butter-recipe-1949087 It's on the menu for this evening.

I watched another Food Network show recently, I believe it was called Baking in Vermont, or something like that. the chef also ground her Parm in a FP, couldn't tell what brand. The Parm she used did look like a somewhat softer type than what I usually use. So for now I'll grate mine in my salad shooter rather than wrecking my big Cuisinart.

Been seeing TV ads for this recently and today seemed like a good day. Actually the sandwich was pretty good, better than most of the Subways I've had before (don't even contemplate their tuna sandwich!) i don't go there often but I would go back for this one.

Is it used for cotton candy?

Breakfast this morning was creamed beef (Stauffer's) on toast. Perfect for a snowy morning.

I see that ebay.ca has some of the salad shooters available...

My late DH was , in his words, “a Norse God” and had the T-shirt to prove it. He introduced me to pickled herring, which I actually came to enjoy.

I wasn't in the mood for extensive cooking today so I ‘assembled’ my dinner with store bought ingredients, something I don't usually do. I made a sort of white sauce, added cooked chicken chunks, and a bag of mixed frozen veg. This went into an 8” square baking dish with refrigerator crescent rolls laid out on top. Incredibly satisfying for so little effort.

Will there be anyone left?

I have quite a few pieces of LC and, while, none are quite like yours, it looks pretty authentic to me. why do you questions it? can you weigh it? That could be a clue.

Montana is so close to the Canada border that I feel I'm part Canadian!

Yes, I have a similar model though mine has a different housing. the cones are the same. I love mine and it works really well. I'm sad that things are so much more expensive in Canada. Wish I could ship to you.
