My every day cut is chuck for a burger. Short ribs definitely add flavor to the blend. All too often packaged short ribs have too little meat to make it worth it but when I see big meaty ones I buy!

The lamb breast at WM are on the bone. At least the ones I’ve bought. More like lamb spare ribs. And yes they are very fatty, which is why I cook them on my smoker and keep the mess outside. Plus they are great off the smoker

The only thing green in my kitchen is the wall paint

Just a quick little dinner of scallops, corn relish and arugula leaf salad. Using my Darto pan I was not able to get enough color on the scallops without over cooking before they released

Made a corn chowder today for lunch or what ever. Inspired by the couple bags of cobs in the freezer and a few fresh ears that needed to get used along with a long sweet red and poblano pepper in the fridge. Always love when cleaning out the fridge turns into something delicious. Beats cleaning out your closet

Chicken tacos. Corn tortillas, homemade green salsa, pan roasted sliced chicken breast in an adobo sauce, avocado cubed and more cilantro with a side of roasted corn n the cob

Thermoworks base thermometers may be over priced based on the competition but their customer service and higher end products are top notch which has value

Hit up a nearby seafood shack for a Mahi sandwich and hush puppies. Excellent as usual. Always have to stop when in the area

Got home late so dinner was simple and involved leftovers. A leftover raw chopped vegetable salad with a few ounces of left over grilled salmon flaked in. Dinner for two. It was really quite good.

Diamond is my go to for cooking and the table. Larger flakes are nice when you want a more assertive salt bite with texture like one might want in some desserts or on a nice cut of steak, raw tuna etc.

I live in central coastal Florida and have no problem turning on my oven. Kick up the AC for a short time if needed. I'm in a shorts and tee at home during many months and a little extra heat is easily tolerated. Guess I'm well acclimated
