Popeyes re heated in CSO. DH had some yesterday for lunch in honor of Bourdain and brought some home for me. I am so very sad about brilliant life that went incomplete. And especially sad for his daughter.

Eggs scrambled with salami and ham. Eaten outside. Not rushing. Breathing slowly. The best things in life are (almost) free.

The only time I got food poisoning was after eating in a fancy restaurant in Washington DC that will remain nameless. No problems while traveling the world. Lettuce and tap water be damned.

These plates and cups are purchased at yard sale and thrift shop for our beach house. Now I like them so much that I want a set for my condo where I have a very large assortment of while plates in various shapes but no color!

Breakfast sandwich. Patty turned out too thick so I cut the top off and served it on the side. Hamburger bun because that was all I had in the house.

Will you still need me, will you still feed me
chefmd replied to a topic in Food Traditions & Culture
Due to my work I often discuss with people what is important to them, what they are trying to accomplish with any given treatment. It varies from "I want to run marathon again" to "I want to drive again" to "I want to stop crying all the time". I can totally relate to @Anna N post. It is greatly important for me to be able to enjoy food. To order what I want, to taste it, to chew it ;). Cheers to all of us on this forum who like food and measure quality of life by it. And no marathon for me.- 43 replies
