I have tri-tip on the brain as there were nice ones at market today. Have not cooked beef in some time but Santa Maria style is my taste memory. May cave to crave.

I have had a craving for the coconut cookies like this. Used to be quite available. - no more Between Famous Amos and Mrs. Fields in the 70's I do not know how we still managed our hip huggers and crop tops. Heavily marketed i L.A. Guess coffee and no real food. T'was a time. have been craving the coconut biscuits like this but not around much anymore. I'm more laissez-faire - rinse it in cooker insert. Drain tilted with hand on rice. Can't afford rice in our drains. Years of no oops and good rice.

Yes food is our unifying factor and often the intersection and understanding needed for cultures to accept one another. Thus I LOVE your culture marriage dish
