I don't believe we have those around here. I do go to an Asian market, but it's pretty small.
However, my favorite donut shop is run by a bunch of Asian women, All straight up American donuts though.
Anyway, I think I may wait until I find myself at another store in the chain and see if it's more than one store. They might just be testing the product under the familiar name and plan to change them name once people find them. An e-mail would probably just generate a C&D letter anyway,

Believe it or not the Indians have an Osterizer attachment for wet curries.by the brand name Premier

IndyRob? If you have a big box Asian mkt near you, there is USUALLY an Asian bakery inside the food court, GO!
OMG some of those pastries are divine! Aside from the real butter cronuts, you may see a curry donut, Japanese
cheesecake, Mocha and cornbread layer cake, etc. One of my all time fave baked goods is this Korean sweet bread
that is in the shape of an Italian loaf, with Mochi and green peas inside and a crumb almond topping...I have no clue what its
called though.

look, you can saute in the instant pot without the lid, put some oil in it and crank it up to high and test the temp of the oil and see if it gets up to chicken frying temp, and voila! you can use it to
fry chicken without the lid.

I own an Instant Pot, I love it...Ive never pressure cooked though
-
Im not arguing BUT
-
I looked on the Instant Pot website and couldnt find frying instructions but I did see that you can use it for Sous Vide...
BTW KFC pressure fries chicken. The only way you will know if the Instant pot fries is to put oil in it and try it out.You arent gonna break it

I'm curious how long those tacos/sandwich buns stay good and crisp before staling. I would love to make these and have ramen sandwiches throughout the week.
-
I buy lots.
But I must say that I buy dry dog food from them cause its $9.00 less than driving to Petsmart and its free 2nd day shipping.
-
Mustard powder = senape powder. Exactly the same stuff. You can easily find the yellow (white) and sometimes the black or brown, but the two latter are sometimes hard to find. A local Indian store carries them. Slightly hotter than the white.
-
Is there any Senape powder?

I have no idea where I got the recipes but I recall when I was a new bride (back in the dark ages, in the far north) I made a mulligatawny soup with apples in it and also a creamed curry with apples too. I am guessing that there was absolutely no chance those were authentic Indian - but I didn't know that when I was 20. They were good but very, very mild compared to most curries I eat these days. We were wimps I guess.
I love Mulligatawny Its perfect in every way

Why is the Benrinner so expensive? I can buy a Trackphone at 711 for cheaper

Okay, Im reading some of these recipes, and Im gonna be bitchy here but look if I see one more sandwich being made on tv where the mayo is spread on the filling and NOT the bread Ill scream! The mayo only belongs on the bread dagnammit! Its as bad as seeing people make PB&Js where they spread the jelly on the Peanut Butter. you cannot get proper coverage and distribution when the slippery ingredient is spread on the slippery ingredients..Not to mention that if you need more "spread" you will contaminate the jar or need to dirty another knife or spoon.
