I hadn't anything planned for dinner so when Moe called me at work, I asked him what he wanted and he said antipasto. So I stopped at the grocery store on my way home from work and picked up what I needed. I grilled the eggplant, zucchini and peppers, paired fresh figs with Gorgonzola, melon with prosciutto, a little caprese salad, olives and salami.

Best reason for baking bread is Toast

Easy dinner tonight. All Moe wanted was homemade bread toasted.

Thanks @Thanks for the Crepes. This dough was made on Tuesday and I finally baked it last night. Sliced this morning using my new bread knife hand crafted by a local artisan.

Osso Buco for dinner tonight. Served over polenta.

Moe's breakfast today. Grilled Filet Mignon with fried mushrooms and Poached eggs

Grilled Halibut steaks. Green beans and potatoes also cooked on the grill. Served with a Kalamata Olive and Tomato Salsa seasoned with fresh garlic, lemon zest and basil, salt, pepper and a drizzle of olive oil.

Goulash Soup with Spaetzle. Last night's dinner.

@sartoric, what a great looking Indian meal. Last night's dinner. Boned out chicken breasts but left the skin on. Browned in cast iron skillet and finished in a hot oven. Served with a lemon and green peppercorn sauce.

Thanks @blue_dolphin. Black olives. Greek but not Kalamata.

Promised Moe homemade Halibut Fish and Chips when the seasoned opened. Made good on my promise tonight.

Moe's breakfast. Homemade Breakfast sausage. Pork seasoned with fresh sage, thyme, garlic, salt and lots of black pepper. Local farm fresh eggs and fried potatoes.

@blue_dolphin, I love the look of your breakfast. So colourful. I had planned to make Shepherds Pie for dinner last night but didn't so I made it for Moe this morning. Topped with leeks.

@Steve Irby, I agree with mm84321. Pizza night. Mushroom and Homemade Italian sausage for Moe and I and Greek Potato pizza for my son Matt.

@Paul Bacino All I can say is WOW!!!! Last night's dinner. Petrale Sole with a lemon, butter and red peppercorn sauce. Craving for beef stew and dumplings. Dinner Tuesday night.

Made Moe steak and eggs for breakfast yesterday. With fried potatoes.

I was out of eggs so I put a pot of cream of mushroom soup on to simmer and baked at batch of biscuits for Moe's breakfast.

@liamsaunt That pasta looks delicious. I love olives cooked in the sauce. Roast chicken for dinner tonight. Comfort food.

Dinner for breakfast is becoming a habit. Sunday's breakfast Pollo alla Marengo. Moe had his for breakfast and I worked Sunday so took some for lunch. And Tuesday's breakfast. Up early so put a ham in the oven. Potatoes and peas in cream. Lots of ham leftover for ham and eggs.

@chefmd, beautiful loaf. Love the rustic look and the colour of your crust. Bread dough hand-mixed on Wednesday and refrigerated for 24 hours. Baked two pizzas and three small rounds on Thursday night.

A couple of Moe's breakfasts. Homemade bread toasted, Italian sausage with potatoes, peppers, onions and mushrooms yesterday and this morning a mushroom omelette from local free range eggs. Moe's Breakfast from yesterday. I was out of eggs so I went with Italian Sausage with potatoes, peppers, onions and mushrooms with toasted sourdough. And today's breakfast Mushroom Omelette with local farm eggs.

Pizza for dinner last night. Dough was made on Wednesday and left in the fridge for 24 hours. Topped with mushrooms and Italian sausage.

Grilled chicken with a side of pasta.
