Chris, Moe had soup for breakfast too. Put a big pot of Borscht (with beef) on to simmer last night. Not in time for dinner. So Moe had a bowl for breakfast, garnished with dill and sour cream with a side of homemade rye toast.

I still had a steak that I had presalted earlier in the week so I made Moe steak and eggs again. Grilled NY Strip topped with poached eggs.

Liuzhou, That salmon looks perfect, BUT, it is the chicken livers that has my mouth watering. And it is only 5:30 AM here on the west coast.

Love simple and quick dinners. Especially on a work night. Chicken Piccata This dinner took just 45 minutes from the time the water went on to boil for the pasta and it was being plated.

Duvel, What an amazing feast. Have you ever been to the Cannery in Shanghai? Sister restaurant to The Nest? Just asking because one of the owners is from Vancouver and the restaurant is suppose to have a West Coast vibe. They purchased our "western maple" boards to use as serving platters. Last night's dinner: Pork Chile Verde served over homemade flour tortillas filled with cheese.

Thanks Blue_Dolphin. Love the perfectly poached eggs. Moe's breakfast - yesterday - Bratwurst with sauerkraut. I had a leftover filet from last night's dinner so I made Moe steak and buttered basted eggs this morning. Toasted baguette.

Beef tenderloin filet grilled and served with cauliflower in individual casseroles, green beans, mushrooms and Parisienne potatoes. Dejah, I made a version of your no pasta mac and cheese. I realized that it was similar to the cauliflower gratin I usually make using Parmesan cheese. I heated up a cup of cream, with cream cheese and seasoned with fresh minced garlic clove, dijon mustard, old cheddar, salt, and pepper. Topped with more grated cheddar. Thank you. It was delicious.

Pooya, about 7 minutes. I have a six burner grill and the stone was in the centre over three of the burners. All six were turned on to medium.

Some great looking breads. I hadn't baked in a couple of weeks and had depleted the bread in the freezer. And Moe was starting to whine about eating store bought bread. So I made a 1500g batch of dough at 80% hydration on Monday and left it in the fridge until late Wednesday afternoon. Baked 6 baguettes and one large pizza.

Thanks Dejah, I'll definitely be giving that a try. Mixed up a batch of bread dough on Monday and left it in the fridge until late Wednesday afternoon. Used some of the dough to make a large pizza. Baked on a stone on the grill at over 700°F. Simple toppings. Half with three cheeses for my son and the other half just fresh mozzarella and green olives.

Dejah, is no pasta mac and cheese made with cauliflower? If so, I'm in. I have never liked mac and cheese, but I would love a cauliflower version. Haven't posted to the dinner thread recently so here are a few of our meals from the last week. Osso Bucco Sterling Silver Top Sirloin. Homemade Perogies Spaghetti al Pomodoro with homemade Italian sausage pattie.

Promised Moe an antipasto platter for dinner. Grilled the vegetables before leaving for work. Roasted the tomatoes after I got home to serve with the grilled baguette and grilled brie. Served with a lovely dry Prosecco.
