Braise pork butt and you will be a convert.

Well, as a native of Unalakleet, Alaska (home of the awesome Unalakaleet River Salmon!) I can tell you, unequivocally, that Copper River Salmon is all about marketing! The salmon that travel much further North in Alaska have more fat and much more flavor. For your spending dollars, I'd go for Yukon River Salmon, since you can't commercially get mine! ← And when the Yukon arrive, we will pay dearly.

Sign at Pure Food Fish last week said May 15, but the guys were saying it would take another couple of days to hit the case.

Was that last Friday? BTW - we have noted the change of reference from "date" to "boyfriend". Have fun. I had the cinnamon pork this week - too much bread, too little pork. Keep telling myself, order the hot meat plate...

Nice to see you still play here. It will be interesting to see what "they" quote from web forums in the future. Pre-politicians, watch what you post. There aren't many exceptions to the 2002 thought, unless you go to Las Vegas.

In hindsight, look at what happened at Tulio's. Chef went out for an ownership option, and came home for the security and luxury of a hotel operated establishment.

I went to a local (Seattle) Peruvian restaurant, El Chalan. It has never been mentioned in the reviews, but the menu was almost comically Chinese. The Mexican waitress told us that when she told her Mom where she was working, she replied "Oh, some of the best Chinese food you can find is at a Peruvian restaurant." Not at this particular one, but you get the idea.

Where to eat in Snohomish County, WA

Open for business - check for dinner days/hours. The space seats 250, so not exactly a cafe. It is just Russell Lowell - J Hunt is doing something else. I had a great time, but they have kinks to work out. The food shows a caterer's hand. -
Season should be starting May 15. Buy your own here: ChefShop

I like the mochas at Macrina Bakery and Cafe - they use Ibarra mexican chocolate. But they don't stay open late. You are walking distance to Boat Street (at least I think so.) new web page The space has gotten great reviews, as has the food.

Thanks - hit the spot last night. For two, I used 2 bundles of ramps and about 1/4 lb thick sliced proscuitto (cut into strips), two cloves garlic, and a whole small onion. The flavors were great, but I would have doubled the ramps - they do melt down and despite the heavy scent, are quite mild. The greens took no time to soften, the "bulbs" stayed a bit crunchy.

Cake. Unlike a cakewalk, with pies they throw them for comic relief and plain meaness. The value just isn't there if they are so willing to waste them. BTW, I recently has a lovely slice of key lime CAKE. Layers of thin white cake sandwiched with creamy key lime cream. You can have your pie and cake too.

I noticed them on Union's menu, but nowhere in the market this week...

Slow down girl, you're gonna bust your gut! (Well, maybe I missed the time you told us all that you run marathons frequently...)
