stir fry tonight. I really miss Szechuan food. This has pork and broccoli, ginger garlic, red onion, scallion, chili black bean sauce, and hoisin. the sake was a Kuboya Suijyu Dai Ginjo Nama

Goat Birria tonight started with this and cooked with water many guajillo peppers and bay leaves. i bought avocado leaves and couldn't find them. recipe here tortillas and side soup for husband and just soup with additions for me

this is a very easy very authentic tasting salsa in a blender 1- 28oz can of san marzano tomatoes- (tomatoes only no juice) 1/2 of a medium size red onion cut into chucks 1 large clove garlic peeled 2-3 or 4 canned chipolte peppers in adobo- depending on how spicy you want it. Blend all above ingredients Add juice from 1 juicy lime and salt to taste and 1/2 bunch of cilantro Blend again

back home in BK after 3.5 months in FL. back to cooking with gas vs electric. Pan seared wild salmon with ginger garlic sauce. Stir fried savoy cabbage with whole toasted cumin seeds, garlic, onion, serrano and cilantro. Szechuan chili crisp on top of the cabbage. Meursault to drink.

where do you buy them? -
pork ribs marinated with garlic, ginger, onion, hoisin, jalapeño, and a little honey- left ribs in sauce Offset fire braised on a sheet pan adding one 12oz beer to the marinade. cooked 20 min turned and cooked 20min more. Removed from pan and put over hot part of fire for 5-7 min per side basting with reserved marinade. recipe here Served with roasted cauliflower and a Crozes Hermitage (syrah)

we're simple. either marcona almonds, cashews or dry roasted peanuts. we like salty thing with drinks -
this is my Florida condo "pantry" Flour and pine nuts, hazel nuts and flax seed meal all get kept in the freezer
