Friday Night, for three green market cherry and sungold tomatoes with prosciutto and buffalo mozzerella. grilled spatchcocked chicken with fresh english peas and sugar snap peas in a creme fraiche, dijon mustard, olive oil, shallot, dressing. an Italian salsa verde and a bunch of wine. the reds were both birth year for the dinner participants

now I want zaatar! Last night we did a Korean style BBQ with boneless pork chops and boneless short ribs. ate in lettuce with ssamjang (soybean paste). fish fragrant eggplant on the side. Namazake to drink

we grilled again last night. I broke down 2 racks for Costco rack of lamb into chops. Had with roasted cauliflower, and an israeli salad (persian cukes, tomatoes, onion, mint and french feta. Didn't take many pics. Opened a birth year wine for my daughter's boyfriend

dinner last night was grilled Vietnamese inspired marinated grilled chicken thighs- lemongrass, lime zest, fish sauce, soy sauce and a little brown sugar. With the Thai tomato and cucumber salad from the NY Times and roasted cauliflower. We were 6 people and we drank these wines.

the steamed version and crab fried rice held up well. The dry fried version dod not travel as well. this crab was never from and prepared live. the texture is much different than eating frozen king crab.

our first takeout during COVID. it was my birthday yesterday, so we celebrated with my kids total 6 people. live king crab served 3 ways , steamed with garlic and scallion, dry fried with ginger and scallion (no picture) and crab fried rice, sauteed homestyle clams with fried anchovies, roast pork, and snow pea leaves with dried scallops. All came from Wu's Wonton King in NYC.

big carb night. a Marcella recipe Pasta col Sugo di Tonno con Aglio e Panna recipe here And a South American (Patagonia) french wine consulted (Jean-Marc Roulot) chardonnay. Pretty good.

thanks. I didn't see that earlier. I buy from everyone. In the city my top three are Chambers Street, Flatiron and Crush. I bought a case of this H Lamy St Aubin from a broker in Napa in 2016 (paid $41.66 a bottle)

End to a long weekend started with little new potatoes halved with creme fraiche and caviar (osetra). Greek salad with feta and grilled chicken breast, tzatziki on the side. white burgundy and it was followed by a old vine Albariño.

our fourth of July fixings ribs, cole slaw and a domestic sparkling wine. I cooked the ribs at 250F for 3.5 hours using cherry chunks and lump charcoal. they should have come off 1/2 hour sooner. but still good.

we had some dry aged rib eye tonight. This steak was about 2.25" thick served with a butter lettuce, tomato, shallot and bayley hazen blue salad with a mustard vinaigrette nice dinner. we had left over crozes hermitage and nama sake to drink

dinner last night. I am a little rusty on my NY kamodo style grill so the skin got a little crisped. Chicken thighs with pico de gallo and baked sweet potatoes. with an Aligote.
