Chef Bonacini always comes off as a gentle soul. I enjoy watching him cook as well. Food looks great. I don't know if I will ever get back to ON but if I do I'll check out one of his restaurants. Thanks for posting.

Probably not..living in the past I guess.

Wouldn't burlap bags work for growing the bag potatoes? Just stab them here and there?

They probably don't give away The Archies 45's on the cereal boxes anymore either! -

Thanks wokkingtall , the Safeway out here tried selling Nathans for awhile but I guess the demand wasn't there as I haven't seen them in quite a while.

Steamies were popular in Quebec-might still be. Steamed hot dog and bun..all dressed was mustard and relish with coleslaw on top. I loved raw onions on mine. When I have them now I grill them, toast the bun and put mustard and relish on them. Don't eat them often though.

Canadians complain about shortage of ethnic chickens
demiglace replied to a topic in Kitchen Consumer
The closest place to buy Kosher chicken for me is about 1 hour away..if they have it in. There are a few butchers that carry specialty birds but at an extreme cost. I try to buy chickens that had a good life but it's not always easy. -
Wonderful..thanks so much for sharing.
