Great trip and report.. How good is Trenton Lobster Pound? I think it might be the best lobster I have ever had!!! Is the lobster roll at Woodman's with Mayo? Thank you also for you kind words but, I must say, to thank me is to thank everyone on the board who has provided me with the information I needed to start my trips.. www.HollyEats.com was a big one, and johnnyd got me wanting to go to New England, but everyone on the New England board is really so helpful..

Hey Chris, Very excited to read your posts.. The last time i was in P-Town i didnt get to really check it out.. Looking forward to seeing it through your eyes..

I had left over ground lamb.. I also had some martins dinner rolls, the 12 count, small potato rolls.. Made a single No, a double Cheeseburger with onions.. Very good..

I bought short ribs yesterday and am going to leave it salted for a couple of days.. I see that Jayjah thinks the porter braise is too sweet has anyone tried the other short rib recipe?

I put these guys in a covered pot with a little water. Left them it on high for 4 minutes.. Took them out of the shell, chopped them up and the threw it in a wok with that had ginger garlic. Added shitake mushrooms then bok choy, then sichuan peppercorns.. It was fabulous..At 6 bucks a pound its one of the cheaper fish at offered to me..

Razor Clams stir fried with oyster sauce, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, shitake mushroom, bok choy and sichuan pepper corn.. Came out really good... Lamb burgers on home made brioche with bacon dijon and goat cheese.. Sweet potato fries Paula Dean's Butterscotch Pie.. I have to admit I used store bought crust and also redi whip.. This was the first time I used Redi whip the way it was "intended" and most likely my last.. It was soupy and tasteless in no time.. Its mainly nitrous.Next time I will not cut corners to miss washing an extra bowl.. The pie itself was pretty tastey.. This recipe was like retro campy.

I have two pounds of razor clams.. I only eaten them a few times and loved them each time.. Would appreciate a recipe or suggestion of how to cook them.. Right now I am thinking in like a New England style razor chowder?

Thanks Richard, I have a question about the bagels.. I see McDuff tried them. Has anyone made them with great results.. Really want to give it a shot and since I am home today with a blown ear drum I dont have much else to do..

Hey thanks Susan, that was some meal you had the other night.. Megan, I think you might have a photo studio in your apartment, complete with umbrellas... Your shots are always really nice, what camera do you use.. The biggest light source in my place at night is normally candles and I end up killing my food with the flash..

Made the rich mans brioche today.. It came out pretty good, I should have kept it in for longer.. it was just a little too dense.. Still very good, just a little to dense.. So buttery The middle didnt rise as high as the pictures in the book.. Slices up really well.

Foie Gras with poached egg and cream finished with truffle oil: Made some rolls with left over brioche dough.. FRISEE AUX LARDONS- From the Les Halles Cookbook.. It looks horrible due to the chicken liver dressing combined with a poorly lit room and a direct camera flash.. What a great salad though.. Chocolate Souffles:

Beefcheeks, thats a hilarious story.. I dont know how I would react in that situation.. Most likely i would feel comfortable enough to stop a cousin, or certainly never let them live it down. Have you had any experiences with her since..

I agree with you about Gray's drink... I have been there maybe 4 times in the last year.. The last time I went I just bought a Papaya drink... While waiting at the light outside, I took a couple of sips and threw it in the trash.. I was surprised at how bad it was.. Especially, when you have no dog to wash down and concentrate on.. -
Waffles for a five year old.. Xtra cream.. I need to get her out of the house and running around before the sugar kicks in.. Waffle recipe was a new one basic belgian recipe except I added a stick of melted butter to the batter..

Made the cina buns this morning and have a brioche half way done.. Hopefully it will be worth photographing.. Normally the icing is the best part of things like this.. But in this case the bread itself was the star.. Great recipe came out airy and chewy.
