If their a pound a piece use my recipe. If it's more like a roast then a long slow braise would be better. How thick is it? 3/4-1 inch it's a chop. Large piece of meat that takes 2 hand's to hold it's a roast. Really can't picture a 1 pound roast.

Was it chops or a roast? Very different when cooking I thought it was 1lb chops, though I agree with the shoulder roast recipe.

Brown veal chop on both sides add some white wine , fresh tarragon, cover and simmer for about 10 min. Turn 5 min more; remove chop and reduce sauce, add heavy cream to pan reduce some more. Serve chop with fresh fettuccine and sauce over. Yum. Can do the same with boneless pounded chicken breasts or Pork cutlets also pounded.

Always found his shows to be interesting and well done.

No, and I haven't spotted them at the Gump's store, either. Just spoke with the 800-number available on the Gump's website. They don't have a clue but *suggest* it may only be offered through the Gump's store in San Francisco. As it is still morning here on the West, they aren't open yet to further the investigation... Bergdorf Goodman in NYC is carrying the china. Just today I went looking for them. They don't have any on display, although the saleswoman I talked with pulled a dinner plate out from an order to show me. She also let me take a look at the brochure which shows all the pieces available. The dishes come in two styles - solid white and white on white to mimic the check on chef pants. The cult of " French Laundry China" appearing soon at a store near you. You can't cook like Thomas but you can eat off the same plates. What's next a Tony Bourdain line of knives? Or better yet Signature Chefs clothing.

Are you trying to convince us or yourself? Most people are in way to much of a hurry. Try to worry about things that you have control over and accept the others. You don't have to be happy about it just chill a little.

I once lived in a place that was advertised as architecturally designed. Fungus growing out of the wall Mushrooms in the bath room and finally Roaches on the counters. This was not big city. I figured it was a teenage science project gone bad and moved. I wasn't the teenager.

Got some Boars-Head dogs today along with some of their kraut and surprised the GF for lunch. She said it took her back to being a child eating a dog. Major points my way.

i'd wager they (the mirrors) aren't dirty. something more akin to glass patina. but, yes, they sure look dirty. If the mirrors are old they are likely De-Silvering witch will cause them to look black.

Can you even get a beer there? Martinis and peanuts will sometimes get you by.
