    Actually, if you ever had a Merlot from Chile you've probably had it before. A good deal of Carmenere from there has been so labeled. Best, Jim so is it akin to a merlot, taste-wise?

    which isn't saying much because i don't know much about wine. in any case - I've just been given a bottle in trade with more on the way for doing a favor for a wine salesman. it's a Luis Felipe Edwards 2001 Carmenere. anyone have any insight on this wine? The back label says it's "fruity, balanced with a nice vanilla and clove finish. Excellent served with pastas and white meats." again, this means nothing to me - I may drink it, foist it on the roommate, or pass it along to someone else. what do y'all think?

    definitely brown cow full-fat plain. even their little flavored ones are good. cherry vanilla rocks my world.

  16. what extramsg said - for some people it'snot that easy to cut fat through exercise - diet is an important factor as well.
  17. i wish that the more high-fat, high-carb food you ate, the less fat you gained.
  18. hey this place is in my neck of the woods too. how much was a plate? btw - i still dig daddy dz - but they tend to be on the expensive side.
  19. I opened a can of kidney beans the other night (hey, I was in a hurry!) and glanced at the ingredients...beans, high-fructose corn syrup, salt. Yum! Kidney bean syrup! who doesn't like a little high-fructose corn syrup with their beans? i know i do! yum.
  20. that's what iu've found helps. actually i can't get in contact with the skin at all, so i kind of cut the flesh off the peel. then after eating it, i wash my mouth real well with soap and water. my lips still get a bit chapped, but not nearly as bad as it was the first time. what's strange is that i've eaten mangoes since i was little, and didn't develop this reaction til i was about 17. totally random.

  23. it's a toss-up between the food pyramid, trans-fatty acids and high fructose corn syrup.
