"White Slave"

I recently read White's book followed right after by Ramsay's.

Personally I enjoyed White's book more. It seemed better written and a little more honest. Where Ramsay seems a little less so and a little more of the shock value swearing, for the sake of it, and comments that really don't need to be there. But both are interesting reads.

"You're drunk."

"Just bring out the cakes."

"Cakes and fine wine."

"If you don't leave we'll call the police."

"Balls! We want the finest wines available to humanity, and we want them here and we want them now!"

Thanks Shinboners - I think I have my hands on a copy! Bloody expensive though.

And if you look on Amazon.uk, it seems that White Heat is getting re-released on September 15. The RRP is £14.99 by Amazon.uk will sell it for £8.99.

Agreed,

He is a bit crazy, but 100% passionate about food.  You'd have to expect something like that from a man who pretty much screwed up his whole life to achieve 3 stars.  I'm a fan of his books.

I think he reached an understanding with Gordon Ramsey though, I have heard that he might do the next season of Hells Kitchen?

I wonder about his passion for food. From the tone of the prose he seemed quite lost after acheiving them
