I'm a big egullet fan as well, but once in a blue moon, i'll cruise over to the wine spectator and the west coast wine forums for a browse. no subscriptions needed.

I like the wine spectator board--the people are knowledgeable, but not quite as stuffy as those that are on Parker's board.

There certainly is a more serious tone on the Robert Parker site -- wouldn't necessarily call it stuffy. Can learn a lot from both groups.
