I eventually got fed up with the Ground Bean Sauce by Koon Chun - it tasted like salt paste. Then I bought a jar of Yeo's Salted Beans.

But I recently discovered Healthy Boy, a Thai brand of Soybean Sauce, which trumps everything. It comes in a tall bottle similar to oyster sauce.
