Selling Liquor Collection

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm moving out of the US and I'm selling my liquor collection. The few things I have left are some of the best and most unique. There are links to pictures of them below.

I have several bottles of Pre-Castro Cuban Dark Bacardi from about 1935. They were found in an old abandoned warehouse in the middle of rural nowhere in a building that was being torn down. They were with other liquor dated 1936-1938 on it's tax stamps. These bottles stamps didn't have a date but are the same style and it's obvious that all the liquor came from the same few years.  They are clearly marked 'Santiago de Cuba' and were made in the factory where they now make Havana Club.

I had about a case and a half, but I've since sold/traded or drank all but these last few. They are excellent and needless to say extremely rare. The bottles were in a cabinet behind an old wall apparently for most of the time since about 1938 and were in the dark (I don't know if that matters or not though).

The labels have had some wear and tear, and the labelling on some of the bottles is in worse condition than the one shown, which was already drank.

IF THE LINK DOESN'T WORK DIRECTLY CUT AND PASTE THEM IN A NEW BROWSER WINDOW.

Yahoo/Geocities is unstable and often doesn't work from a link for some reason.

I also have an original full crate of Gordon's Gin from ca. 1916. There are many pictures and a description below.

I have a few other odds and ends (some 1914 & 1917 Bourbon, Napoleon Cognac from the 1940s, etc.) but this is the best stuff.

If interested contact me through email, rtdelamere@yahoo.com.

Thanks, Rob
