Bread!

But seriously, in Manhattan, check out Kalustyan's on Lexington and 28 St. and Dowel on 1st Av. between 5th and 6th Sts. If Jackson Heights is convenient for you, you'll find much bigger Indian stores there.

Not only Kalustyan -- all the stores on that block and on 27th and 28th as well! While they all have many of the same, they also each have some slightly different.

But another possibility: Myers of Keswick, for Branson Pickle. Hey, if it goes with a hunk of cheese uncooked, why not with it grilled?

You saved me the trouble about asking about pickles, thanks. That's another item I plan to include as a topping and I want a few different and very special kinds. Can you expand a little more about Branson pickles and where Keswick is?

Also, as far as Kalustyan's and other places in that area, I thought they only carried Indian goods?

Kalustyan carries a wide range of Middle Eastern foods as well.

Myers of Keswick is at 634 Hudson Street (Horatio - Jane). And to be honest, you'll do better posing your pickle Q on the UK board

As Suzanne said, they carry a wide range of goods. Check it out yourself on their website!

Happy shopping!

So many choices between pickels and chutneys! How the heck am I ever gonna evaluate them all?! Though I guess that's the fun part. Thanks for the suggestions.
